Site Selection and Installation Guidelines

Lift Location

• Ensure adequate space using architect’s plans or layout dimensions.
• Requires a 220v or 110v, 30-amp, single-phase, grounded electrical source.
• Ensure enough space for safe operation without restrictions.

Overhead Area

• Ensure the area is free from obstructions such as heaters, supports, electrical lines, doors, and lights.
• 

Floor Requirements

• A level floor is recommended for proper installation and lifting.
• Small floor slopes can be adjusted with proper shimming.
• Do not install on:
  • Asphalt or any surface other than concrete.
  • Expansion seams or cracked/defective concrete.
  • Elevated floors without consulting an architect.
• For outdoor installations, protect the power unit from inclement weather.

Concrete Specifications

• All models require 3,000 PSI reinforced concrete.
  • 8,500 lbs – 10,000 lbs lifts: Minimum 4″ thickness.
